Description
Announced that seasonal loan limits for summer paddy crops would be raised from Kyat 80 000 to 100 000 per acre (USD 284 per ha), with the repayment period for loans for wet season crops further extended to March 2013. The measure is geared at sustaining farmers that have incurred losses due to floods.
