Description
Announced that it would accelerate public stock releases. Starting in July, between 500 000 tonnes to 1.0 million tonnes of rice are expected be offloaded from public inventories each month. The supplies would be sold via open tenders to the private sector and through the Agricultural Futures Exchange of Thailand (AFET), with government-to-government deals also to be pursued.
