Description
Freight subsidy of Rs 1.75/kg ($18/ton) approved by the Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet (ECC)for the export of up to 1.2 million tons of sugar. Federal excise duty lowered by Federal Board of Revenue on domestic sugar sales from 8.0 percent to 0.5 percent.
