Description
Purchase of 9 million tonnes of wheat from the farmers by Pakistan Agricultural Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) and provinces, in order to meet 2013 procurement target.
Notes
Punjab will procure 4.5 million tonnes, Sindh 1.3 million tonnes, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan will buy 500,000 tonnes and 100,000 tonnes, respectively, and PASSCO has agreed to procure 2.6 million tonnes.
