Description
Stepped-up inspection and quarantine measures on rice originated from Pakistan, following found presence of khapra beetle in consignments arriving from the country. Contaminated vessels are to receive treatment and be returned to Pakistan, with future consignments permitted to enter the country following results of a risk assessment evaluation and the reestablishment of mitigation measures in Pakistan.
