Description
Suspended the import duty for common wheat (45%) from January 1, 2014 until April 30, 2014. Introduced an import subsidy system,to be in place from 1 January until 30 April 2014. Under the scheme, importers would be reimbursed 85% of any costs over Dirham 2 800 per metric tonne (USD 337).
