A Regional expert meeting was organized in the Solomon Islands to review and assess gaps in organizational capacities of producer organizations for improving market linkages and value chains.
A training course on agribusiness management for farmer organizations in the Pacific was organised May 2010 in Fiji. The workshop also addressed food safety and quality standards, fair trade and other certification programmes relevant for the Pacific region.
