In 1995, the Intergovernmental Group (IGG) on Grains was designated as International Commodity Body (ICB) for supervision of projects supported by the Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) on grains as well as roots, tubers and pulses. Since 1995, the Group has endorsed 12 projects worth over US$ 20 million, located in Africa, Asia and Latin America & Caribbean. The commodities covered include sorghum, millet, maize, fonio, cassava and potatoes.
