The development and use of the working cycle aims at ensuring quality and comparability of information by minimizing variations.
The working cycle can pave a way to engage FAPDA outputs into a policy dialogue and into a decision-making process, so that any stakeholder who may engage in the implementation of FAPDA ensuring the same quality and compatibility in the end results.
In addition, when no other reference on policy tracking is available at the national level, the FAPDA working cycle can be shared as a standard procedure for monitoring.
Temporary changes or flexibility in moving to the next phase of the working cycle will be expected in order to comply with organizational or governmental environment or requirements (country-level approach) unless such adjustment affects the comparability across countries and regions.
