Between July and August 2020, FAO officially launched its emergency agricultural activities and response to the pastoral lean season in four regions of the Niger – Diffa, Maradi, Tahoua and Zinder. Animal feed and rainfed seeds were provided to vulnerable farming households in order to continue to carry out production activities, and improve their livelihoods and food security.
