The Inter-agency Humanitarian Evaluations (IAHEs)
This video presents some of the lessons learnt from the first three Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluations (IAHEs) of the response to the crises in the Philippines (Typhoon Haiyan), in Central African Republic 2013-2015 and in South Sudan. “How relevant and how effective were the responses? Were the expected results achieved? What was the level of engagement of national actors and governments? And which areas need to be strengthened?”
We have asked it to the Independent evaluators who conducted the IAHEs in CAR and in the Philippines and a team member of the IAHE management group of the response to the crisis in South Sudan. For more information on the Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluations and to download the full evaluation reports, visit the IASC website.
