Women farmers in Zimbabwe start vegetable farming as a business

Through FAO’s voucher programme, women farmers in Zimbabwe – often the most vulnerable households – were able to start vegetable farming as a business, giving them a crucial source of income, as well as nutritious foods. The Kushinga women’s group from Dangarendove in Chirumhanzi District have focused mainly on tomato and cabbage production.
