The workshop was held in La Havana, Cuba, 25 - 26 January 2005.

The objective of the workshop was to examine the situation in Cuba referring to health and nutrition education and sustainable agriculture in the framework of the Telefood Project.
This project aims at promoting 59 children gardens in schools in the Easter province of Cuba (Santiago de Cuba, Holguin, Guantanamo).
The United Nations Agencies in Cuba - among them the Sub-Regional Office of FAO in Barbados - participated in the workshop.
