National Conference on 'Call of Time: United Natures'

The two-day conference 'Call of Time: United Natures' which took place in New Delhi was organized by the Department of Environment, NCR Delhi, along with Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya which is an ERP partner.
The conference was supported by Union Ministries of Agriculture, Earth sciences Environment & Forest, Renewable energy, Rural Development and Science and Technology, Government of India.

The conference featured amongst others sessions on “New Paradigm on Empowering Rural India” and “Shashwat Yogic Farming”. Shashwat Yogic Farming is an organic farming technique that incorporates Rajyoga meditation as one of the key inputs in farming and has been able to achieve a significant benefit both in terms of quantity and quality of agricultural output as well as improving the quality of life of the farming community.

This technique is currently being studied and documented at S.D. Agricultural University, Gujarat, India. The preliminary results from a two and a half year study were discussed.
