The Eleventh Meeting of the Working Group on Education for All (EFA) (WGEFA) was held at UNESCO Headquarters, Paris, France.

It reviewed EFA progress since the 1990 World Conference on Education (Jomtien, Thailand) in preparation of the Tenth Meeting of the High Level Group on EFA, which will take place from 22 to 24 March 2011 (also in in Jomtien, Thailand).

The Working Group focused on five selected topics:
- reviewing progress made since 1990
- improving the quality of education
- making the case for education
- violent conflict and education
- financing education

WGEFA discussed key policies for future actions to accellerate progress towards accomplishing the goals.
The ERP coordinator contributed to assure a strong focus on rural people education and training needs and opportunities, including agriculture extension, considered a bridge between MDG1 and MDG2.

The meeting brought together more than 100 participants representing governments, bilateral and multilateral organizations, civil society, the private sector, parliaments and research institutions
