5th APEAEN International Conference Theme: Enriching Agricultural Learning Process towards Sustainable Food Security

The 5th APEAEN International Conference, organized by Kasetsart University, Chiang Mai University and the FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, will be held on 07-10 November 2011 in Nakhon Pathom province, Thailand.The organizers of this forthcoming APEAEN conference anticipate that this learning activity will provide ample opportunities for all APEAEN members and other participants from different countries in the Asia – Pacific region to share and exchange their experiences and devise solutions to problems in agricultural education and extension, which can be used for the development of agriculture towards sustainable food security. It also promotes Education for Rural People (ERP) under the EFA Flagship with the same name which is led by FAO.
