The Institut Polytechnique LaSalle Beauvais is a unique higher education institution in the Earth, Life and Environmental Sciences. These disciplines are central to the major challenges now facing society and our planet, namely protection of the environment, energy renewal and food for all. LaSalle Beauvais has a responsibility and mission to global society: to fight poverty through education and training and promote widespread sharing of knowledge. As a key regional player in its field, our institute wishes to promote action further afield and contribute to a more sustainable world using the levers of research and education. LaSalle Beauvais is committed to meeting this challenge with its ambitious campaign, L.I.F.E.®, LaSalle Institute For Earth®, which focuses on: • development of new research using international tools and with teams working on three programmes: agro-resources, food and health, and water; • widespread sharing of knowledge and skills through the training of lecturers/researchers and students.
