The project aims at assisting with putting in place an effective, efficient and sustainable national food security information system that provides timely and high quality food security information.
This aims to assess food emergency conditions, identify and characterize food insecure and vulnerable population groups, monitor food donations and relief assistance, monitor commercial food imports, formulate food policies and strategies, and implement and monitor food security programmes and projects at national and sub-national levels.
