The overall objective of this assistance project is improving human population information on food security, particularly focused on the poorest ones, so that concrete poverty alleviation and food insecurity at all levels may be best focused, thus helping boost vulnerable population nutrition status.
The project's immediate goal is providing the Food Security Monitoring Agency (OSA) with the means necessary to develop its new food security monitoring coordination undertaking at each of its component levels (particularly with regard to production, imports / exports, poverty alleviation, and market, vulnerable groups, and nutritional follow-up), even through supporting the development and management of the database and management workflow, and assistance to CRSA and SMT in its data collection, processing and flow pursuits. |
