FAO capacity building workshop on Payments for Environmental Services (PES)
in Eastern Africa- Rewarding local communities for sustainable land management
The meeting took place in Dar es Salaam and included participants from 4 countries and a broad mix of different stakeholders, spanning from local to international research institutions, government agriculture and environmental technical staff and policy makers, private sector buyers of environmental services and NGOs engaged in conservation and agricultural development.
