Ongoing PESAL work
Current work in the PESAL group focuses on Climate Change Mitigation from productive agricultural lands and its synergies with Food Security.
The EX-ACT model can guide the project design process and the decision making on funding aspects, complementing the usual ex-ante economic analysis of investments projects. The new carbon methodology will allow for accounting of reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from sustainable grazing systems.
The consolidation of a methodology for Rapid Appraisal of PES Feasibility will help in identifying opportunities to establish PES agreements, focusing on engaging private-sector demand. click here for more
