Support to the coordinating structure for food security information system activities of the SETSAN

The project will contribute to the implementation of the national Food Security and Nutrition Strategy (FSNS) in consolidating the co-ordinating structure for food security information system (FSIS) activities in Mozambique, most of which are currently assumed under the Coordinating Structure for Food Security and Early Warning Information Systems (SENCAP) and the Technical Secretariat for Food Security and Nutrition (SETSAN).

Food security success stories

ESA is undertaking a series of case studies across the world to provide an in-depth analysis of the state of world hunger. They will be used as background for a series of papers identifying good practice which will then be used for further analyses for cross-country comparisons of food security policies. The case studies, which should be finished by early July next year, will provide useful information in their own right and serve as valuable reference points for future cross-country analysis.
