Ex-ante Carbon Balance Tool- EX-ACTEX-ACT is a tool aimed at providing ex-ante measurements of the impact of agriculture and forestry development projects on GHG emissions and C sequestration, indicating its effects on the Carbon-balance. It will guide the project design process and the decision making on funding aspects, complementing the usual ex-ante economic analysis of investments projects. It is being developed with FAO Investment Centre Division (TCI) and Policy Assistance Division (TCA), with the French Institute for Research and Development (IRD).Contact in the PESAL team: Giacomo Branca (giacomo.branca@fao.org) |
