OBJECTIVES
To strengthen the statistical capability on food security and
consumption analysis in Near East and North Africa countries.
To derive relevant food consumption statistics from existing
food data collected from past HIES through the application of
the FAO methodology using computerized system procedures.
To provide an opportunity for horizontal transfer of experience
in food security among producers and users of food indicators
within and between countries.
