Section 4. Instructions on Prices Received by
Farmers for Live Animals
In this section, we request prices of animals sold
live to serve for any purpose, whether for slaughter, which
means being sold as a primary commodity, or whether for repeated
use within the farm, which means being sold as a fixed asset for
the buyer as part of investment in agriculture, or whether for non
agriculture-related uses (e.g. recreation).
Please introduce in the blank table the names of the
species commonly bred and traded in your country, their main characteristics,
such as sex, age and any other characteristic (e.g. breed) that
can explain the price level, their average weight and the
use that will be made of that livestock.
