Natural Resource Management

Photo: REUNatural Resource Management (NRM) is the broader concept of environmental management and planning, an interdisciplinary and cross-cutting issue, with a strong relation to rural development and land tenure policies. It aims to address and integrate environmental approaches with providing leadership, technical and policy advice and knowledge towards the sustainable use of natural resources (land, water, soil, genetic resources and biodiversity) across all relevant sector policies. The activities currently focus on providing capacity building and technical assistance.
