Regional Workshop 17-20 July 2012, Moscow/Bykovo, Russian Federation
One of the main purposes of International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs) is to harmonize the approaches and procedures of countries at export and import of plants and plant products. The workshop will focus on the ISPMs shared by International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) for country consultation. The event aims to promote the implementation of the IPPC and ISPMs. Representatives of National Plant Protection Organizations of 19 countries (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Montenegro, Russian Federation, Serbia, TFYR of Macedonia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan) will participate in the workshop, organized jointly by FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia and the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO).
