Working with others adds value to FAO’s work and enables the Organization to achieve more.
In the Europe and Central Asia region, FAO collaborates with nongovernmental organizations, civil society organizations, private company and industry associations, academic and research institutions, and of course with Member Governments.
Partnerships cover areas such as outreach to rural populations, research, technical assistance, capacity building, information sharing and networking.
The AgroWeb Central and Eastern Europe Network was created with the aim of collecting and providing information on agricultural institutions and other agriculture-related subjects, to help users locate information and contacts in the region. Several thematic knowledge networks reside within the AgroWeb structure.
