FAO collaborates with a variety of NGOs. At the field level, FAO collaborates with development NGOs that have expertise in the areas of FAO interventions and direct outreach to rural populations. It also works with NGOs that support other institutions in a variety of ways such as research, technical assistance, capacity building, information sharing and networking.

AgroWeb Central and Eastern Europe Network is created in aim to collect and provide information on agricultural institutions and other important agriculture related subjects to help users to find information and contacts in Central and Eastern European countries and former USSR. Within the structure of AgroWeb several thematic knowledge networks have been developped.
