South-South Cooperation

©FAO/Vyacheslav OseledkoFAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia looks forward to expanding our partnerships for South-South Cooperation.

More than 10 countries in the region including Central Asia, Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Western Balkans are expressing their needs for knowledge sharing and capacity building with other member states having similar development experiences.

At the moment, Chile, China, Hungary, The Russian Federation, and Turkey provide solutions to the region for agricultural development and food security.

Triangular partners like MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, are also playing a key role in expertise exchange in the region.
