Final reporting, operational and financial closure

Upon completion of the EC-funded action, FAO will proceed with operational closure in accordance with the Organization’s relevant rules and regulations and submit its Final Report, including the Financial Statement, to the donor, for approval.

At this point, FAO will also request payment of the remaining 5-20% of the EC contribution, which is normally withheld by the EC, pending approval of the above-mentioned reports.

Upon EC approval, FAO will submit its Final Report to the Government concerned, along with recommendations for follow-up, and arrange for handing-over of project equipment in consultation with the EC and the government authorities concerned.

Financial closure of the Oracle project account will be requested by the project Budget Holder, as soon as operational closure will have been confirmed and no further charges are expected.
