Sustainable Management of Tuna Fisheries and Biodiversity Conservation in the Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction (ABNJ)

20/09/2017

The purpose of a mid-term evaluation (MTE) is to provide an external assessment of a project’s progress toward achieving project results and expected outcomes, to identify design and implementation issues that need to be addressed, and to help strengthen the planning and delivery of project activities for the remainder of the project.

This MTE evaluated the results achieved by the “Sustainable Management of Tuna Fisheries and Biodiversity Conservation in the Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction” project from its inception in January 2014 through December 2016. The evaluation assessed all key elements of the Project across the activities outlined in the Theory of Change (ToC). The evaluation team conducted field missions in five countries where the Project is being implemented (Fiji, Ghana, Micronesia, Pakistan and Seychelles).
