This evaluation examined FAO’s contribution in Lao People’s Democratic Republic from 2009 to 2014. It found that FAO has delivered relevant support for agricultural policy development in the Lao and achieved significant results in capacity building of government partners. It recommends that FAO strengthen its policy support in Lao PDR by putting greater emphasis on strengthening analysis, implementation and enforcement of these policies. This evaluation analysed achievements of the project in context, having revisited observations and recommendations made during the mid-term review of the project. This evaluation examined the contribution and strategic positioning of FAO in Burkina Faso over the period 2010-2014.  It found that FAO in Burkina Faso has helped strengthen the resilience of vulnerable households, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, climate change adaptation, water management, seed and non-wood forestry production, and food security policy development. This evaluation assessed the relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of FAO’s knowledge products and services, including quality assurance and dissemination processes. Data for the evaluation were collected from over 3500 stakeholders, users and staff and from over 1200 documents, networks and databases and 50 other evaluations.
