Evaluations in FAO assess activities, projects, programmes, strategies and policies and provide evidence-based information that is credible, reliable and useful for timely incorporation into decision-making processes. FAO’s Strategic Objective 1 (SO1) is to “contribute to the eradication of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition”.
