The Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluation's Steering Group met in Geneva

The Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluations were initiated in response to UN General Assembly and ECOSOC resolutions to enhance accountability and strengthen the collective humanitarian response by the United Nations and its partner members of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC). Since 2014, three evaluations on Level 3 emergency response – for Typhoon Haiyan, South Sudan and Central African Republic – and a synthesis of agency-based evaluations on Syria crisis were produced. This report aims to provide Member Countries and other readers with an analytical summary of the emerging and recurrent trends in evaluations, and to discuss the main results, gaps and lessons found in FAO’s work in the period of 2015-2016. FAO at the Evaluation Week 2017

From 15 to 19 May, evaluation officers of 47 United Nations agencies came together in Vienna for their annual meeting, the "Evaluation Week". Evaluation of FAO’s contribution to rural poverty reduction through Strategic Programme 3

This evaluation assessed the strategic relevance and progress in the implementation of FAO’s new approach to rural poverty reduction at country level. 8th International Conference of the African Evaluation Association

The 8th AfrEA International Conference aims to promote exchange between researchers, academia, emerging evaluators and practitioners on the demand and supply of credible evaluative evidence in support of the SDGs in Africa.
