Rural Development Research Platform (RDRP) is the first digital platform for research in the rural economy in Romania. This was done on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Romanian Academy and is intended as a support tool for academic and scientific development of rural economy. RDRP was developed within a scientific project's internal Economic and Social Research Institute "Gh. Zane ', the Romanian Academy, Iasi Branch, through collaboration between the team and the Department of Rural Economy Technologies Digital speech. Scientific research aimed to consolidate the principles, methods and directions of rural development, as embodied in basic research and empirical literature on Romanian rural areas evidenced by monographs, historical research and historiography, comparative studies, exploration and forecasting rural, forecasts and strategies, complex research interdisciplinary etc.
