A grassroots registered network membership network of Small Scale Farmers SSFs and part of a similar larger regional network for all Countries of East Central and South African countries, born out of the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development WSSD02 which was held in Johannesburg in August 2002. We bring together SSFs through empowering them with capacities to articulate issues affecting them namely domestic and global policies domestic and international market access and availability of SSF friendly credit, this is in our efforts to help in the fight to eradicate POVERTY and eliminate INEQUALITIES as we participate in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals SDGs and the Kenya Government Big Four Agenda derived from the SDGs. In the past we have actively participated in AGOA, WT,O, TICAD, UNCTAD, EPAs, AU DILIBERATIONS, COMESA, ECOWAS CAADP, SADC, EAC INTEGRATION PROCESS and The Kenya Government Devolution System, however research has shown that Small Scale Farming being tainted dependent is affected by Climate Change due to storms droughts floods and landslides. Hence we ve embarked on very prestigious Runoff Rain Water Harvesting RRWH projects at the household village level especially in the Arid and Semiarid Lands ASAL whose water harvested is being used for both WASH and Agricultural purposes. We ve further incoperated Agroecological Farming Techniques and Technologies ie Organic Farming Agroforestry and Permanent Agriculture (Permaculture). Also we are The Facilitator For East African Civil Society Mechanism and we are interested in the dissemination of information on the FAO Voluntary Guidelines on Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land Fisheries and Forests in context of National Food Security Sovereignty and Nutrition FSSN.Also we attend the UN World Committee on Food Security CFS. Finally we are the Director Kenya Global Landscapes Forum GLFx based in Luxembourg.
