Codex work received by Codex Contact Point in Egypt going first to specialized technical committees in the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS) Participants in the technical committees are from: - Governmental Sectors - Industrial Sector - Private Sector - Experts - Academic and Scientific Institutions - Customers If the TCs sent any recommendations for scientific or market studies..., EG CCP transfers the documents to the relevant parties to be studied. Final decision should come out upon national consultation with participating of all stakeholders and key sectors.

Till now there is no specific body, however most of them are related to Ministry of Health and Ministry of Agriculture and each ministry has such as scientific committee and may request risk assessment studies from accredited bodies to be implemented
