Surveillance of foodborne diseases and monitoring of food contamination

National surveillance systems – foodborne disease in humans
Establish sentnel sites (food borne disease desk in hospitals) in six geo-political zones and FCT for reporting, collecting, collating and transmitting food borne disease data to National Data Repository Centre in FMOH. On outbreak of food borne diseases the data is transmitted to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)
