لجنة التنسيق للدستور الغذائي في آسيا - المنسق الإقليمي االصين
تأسست لجنة التنسيق لهيئة الدستور الغذائي في آسيا في الاجتماع الحادي عشر لهيئة الدستور الغذائي الذي عقد في روما، إيطاليا، في تموز/ يوليو 1976. وتم عقد اجتماعها الأول في نيودلهي (الهند) في كانون الثاني/ يناير 1977.
ويعمل المنسق الإقليمي من داخل المركز الوطني الصيني لتقييم مخاطر سلامة الأغذية.
وتشمل الأولويات الرئيسية للصين كمنسق تعزيز المشاركة في اجتماعات هيئة الدستور الغذائي، ودعم تحديد أولويات عمل الهيئة في المنطقة، وتحسين تنسيق مواصفات سلامة الأغذية وتسريع تنشيط لجنة التنسيق من خلال تبادل المعلومات وتقديم تحديثات منتظمة حول قضايا سلامة الأغذية ضمن المنطقة.
كما ترغب الصين أيضا في تعزيز التعاون مع منظمات المراقبة وتحسين التواصل الكفوء والفعال بين الأعضاء الإقليميين ومنظمة الأغذية والزراعة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية وأمانة هيئة الدستور الغذائي.

India workshop to explore Indian perspectives on food safety for World Food Safety Day
The Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) is jointly organizing a World Food Safety Day event with the Society of Fisheries Technologists India (SOFTI), the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and the India Section of Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC International).
The hybrid national technical workshop will take place on 7 and 8 June in Cochin, Kerala, India and online with the theme “Indian perspective on food safety, security and standards”.

FAO and WHO join forces for World Food Safety Day in Asia and the Pacific
The FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and WHO Regional Offices of the World Health Organization for South-East Asia and the Western Pacific are jointly organizing a World Food Safety Day webinar on 1 June.

ACT project in Nepal / Training on implementation of Codex antimicrobial resistance standards
FAO Nepal in collaboration with the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development conducted a training of trainers on the implementation of Codex standards to contain and reduce foodborne antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Twenty-three government officials from various departments representing food safety, public health, animal, and plant health, as well as the environmental agencies, participated in the training on 8-10 May 2023 in Godavari, Nepal.

Malaysia celebrates Codex 60th anniversary

ACT project: Cambodia sets priorities to combat AMR
A roadmap workshop took place on 27 April 2023 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia bringing together all relevant stakeholders to identify their priorities for addressing foodborne antimicrobial resistance (AMR), as part of the “Action to support implementation of Codex AMR (ACT)” project. First Asia Pacific Food Regulatory Authority Summit takes place in Seoul
Ministers and representatives of seven countries gathered in Seoul, Republic of Korea on 10-11 May 2023 to establish a ministerial level food regulators coalition in the Asia-Pacific region. Japan’s Food Safety Management Association starts World Food Safety Day activities
On 9 May, Masanori Kotani, Vice President/Secretary General of Japan’s Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) delivered a lecture on food safety and the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) “5 keys to safer food” and “2023 theme and slogan of World Food Safety Day” to second- and third-year students at Hokkaido Shizunai Agricultural High School.

To raise awareness of the importance of ensuring food safety, Korea is getting ready for the 22nd Korean Food Safety Day.
