Comité Coordinador Regional del Codex para Europa (CCEURO) - Coordinador regional: Kazajstán

En el período de sesiones de la Comisión del Codex Alimentarius celebrado en julio de 2017 se nombró oficialmente a Kazajstán como nuevo coordinador para la región europea, siendo la primera vez que un país de Asia central ocupa este puesto.

En la actualidad, el Comité Coordinador para Europa está integrado por 52 miembros: 51 Estados Miembros y una Organización Miembro (Unión Europea). El equipo neerlandés del Codex, ubicado en el Departamento de la Cadena de Suministro de Productos Vegetales y Calidad Alimentaria del Ministerio de Economía, se encarga de desempeñar las tareas de coordinador de la región europea.

Tajikistan to celebrate World Food Safety Day with comprehensive communications campaign
