Comité du Codex sur les additifs alimentaires (CCFA)

Mandat:(a) confirmer ou établir des limites maximales autorisées pour les additifs alimentaires;
(b) établir des listes prioritaires d'additifs alimentaires aux fins de l'évaluation des risques par le Comité mixte FAO/OMS d'experts des additifs alimentaires;
(c) assigner des classes fonctionnelles aux différents additifs alimentaires;
(d) recommander des normes d'identité et de pureté pour divers additifs alimentaires en vue de leur adoption par la Commission;
(e) examiner des méthodes d'analyse servant au dosage des additifs alimentaires dans les aliments; et
(f) examiner et élaborer des normes ou codes dans des domaines apparentés tels que l'étiquetage des additifs alimentaires vendus en tant que tels.
