Comité del Codex sobre Residuos de Plaguicidas (CCPR)

Mandato:(a) Establecer límites máximos para residuos de plaguicidas en determinados alimentos o grupos de alimentos;
(b) establecer límites máximos para residuos de plaguicidas en algunos productos forrajeros que se distribuyen en el comercio internacional, cuando ello esté justificado por razones de protección de la salud humana;
(c) preparar listas de prioridades de plaguicidas para su evaluación por la Reunión Conjunta FAO/OMS sobre Residuos de Plaguicidas (JMPR);
(d) examinar métodos de muestreo y análisis para la determinación de residuos de plaguicidas en alimentos y piensos;
(e) examinar otros asuntos relacionados con la inocuidad de los alimentos y piensos que contienen residuos de plaguicidas; y
(f) establecer límites máximos para contaminantes ambientales e industriales, que tienen características químicas o de otra índole análogas a las de los plaguicidas, en determinados alimentos o grupos de alimentos.
