SEARCH

SEARCH

At the top left of the website, there is the Google Custom Search box which is a very powerful tool. It has the same search engine functionality as Google and it looks for the words in the box on the whole Codex website and on every document linked to the website itself.

There are special commands to allow restricting a query, for example a text in quotes “text” will be searched for exactly as typed; a search containing a text preceded by a minus sign ‘-text’ will exclude all pages that contain this text; a search containing ‘filetype:pdf’, will only return pdf files.

At the following link you can find information from Google with more options and clarifications:

Additionally we are working to create an advanced search to allow you for example to limit your search to just standards or to include also the databases into the search.
