GENERAL INFORMATION

The 20th Session of the FAO/WHO Coordinating Committee for Asia will be held from September 26th–30th 2016 in New Delhi, India.
The Session will begin at 09:30, Monday, September 26th. The Session will be conducted in English and Chinese.

On Sunday 25th September there will be two physical working groups:
1. Proposed Draft Regional Standard for Laver Products; 9:00–12:00
2. Proposed Draft Regional Code of Hygienic Practice for Street-Vended Foods; 14:00-17:00

SIDE EVENTS

The following side events are planned to be held during CCASIA20:
• Workshop for the first time delegates - Sunday 25th September 17:00 - at Regal Room
• Codex Communication Tool – Monday 26th September Lunch time (see attached)
• Codex Trust Fund 2 – Wednesday 28th September Lunch time (see attached)
• Revitalization of Regional Coordinating Committees and Strengthening Standard-setting and Implementation of Codex Standards - Friday 30th September 13:00-16:00 (see attached)
• Feast, Flavour and Fusion of India (Food Safety initiatives in Catering sectors) – Thursday September 29th evening (see attached)
• Trip to Agra – Thursday September 29th

ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION

All participants should provide their information (names and addresses) through the online registration system by accessing the link below, latest by 20th August 2016.

Login and password for the online registration have been provided to all Codex Contact Points and Contact Point of Observers Organizations. If the login and password have not been received, please contact codex@fao.org.
Only in case of technical difficulty, the registration form should be sent directly to the CCASIA Secretariat.

The documents for the session are available in English and Chinese. They will be placed on the Codex website as soon as they are prepared. NB! We kindly remind you to obtain all documentation from the Codex website prior to the meeting.
