GENERAL INFORMATION

The 27th Session of the Codex Committee on Fats and Oils will be held virtually on 18 to 22 October 2021 (09:00 – 12:00 CET). Report adoption is scheduled for 26 October 2021 (09:00 – 12:00 CET).
A pre-session webinar, which will also will address first-time participants, will be organized on Friday 15 October 2021, 09:00 – 10:30 hours CET.

WEBINAR IN PREPARATION FOR CCFO27

A webinar on the Revision to the Standard for Olive and Olive Pomace Oils (CXS 33-1981): Sections 3 and 8, was held on 7th July 2021, 12:00 – 14:00 hours CET.
This webinar presented an overview of the progress made by the electronic working groups, highlighted areas where consensus is still pending and provided an opportunity for participants to seek clarifications on revisions as they also prepare to submit their written comments on the revision.

The Codex Secretariat has prepared a guidance for Members and Observers to facilitate the smooth running of Codex virtual meetings. Codex members and observers participating in the upcoming virtual meeting are kindly invited to consult the Information for Delegates webpage and in particular to read the Guidance to participants of virtual meetings available in English, French, Spansh, Arabic, Chinese and Russian.
