Young students in Nagaland, India, celebrate World Food Safety Day

On 7 June, at the Milon School in Nagaland, India, students joined the world in celebrating World Food Safety Day in a number of different activities. The school invited Dr AkumtoshiAo. Food hygiene and horticulture the focus of two World Food Safety Day events in Kyrgyzstan

The Standardization and Metrology Centre of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and FAO organized an international seminar in the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, to mark World Food Safety Day. Codex60 / Jenny Scott explores the revised General Principles of Food Hygiene

In 2022 the Codex Secretariat began work on reviewing the formatting and layout of Codex texts to ensure consistency, to meet FAO and international publishing standards and to enhance readability. A digital object identifier (DOI) has also been added to standards as they are published, providing a unique reference that can support tracking and citation of each text. The Costa Rican Ministry of Economy, Industry and Commerce has produced a World Food Safety Day video, in which it “recognizes the importance of food standards because they constitute the basis of trust for all consumers. On 7 June, the Tamil Nadu Food Safety Department, Empower India and the All India Chamber of Commerce and Industries jointly observed World Food Safety Day  at Thoothukudi. Food safety lessons for schoolchildren in Portugal on World Food Safety Day

The school meals team at the Municipality of Alcobaça in Portugal organized a special World Food Safety Day event for the children whose meals they oversee.
