A virtual “Codex ABC” training event was held on 3 and 5 April 2024 for the Latin America and Caribbean region (CCLAC), with the support of the Codex Secretariat and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), with translation into Spanish, English and French. Goal 3 of the Codex Strategic Plan 2020–2025 calls for increased impact through the recognition and use of Codex texts, including  the development of a mechanism to monitor the use and impact of Codex standards.
