New technology for Codex working groups

Standards and regulatory cooperation for the SDGs

39th Codex Nutrition Committee begins in Berlin

The Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) studies specific nutritional problems, drafts general provisions concerning the nutritional aspects of all foods and develops standards for foods for special dietary uses. Steve Wearne is Director of Policy and Science Group at the UK Food Standards Agency and In July 2017 he was elected as Vice Chair of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. 40th Codex Alimentarius Commission begins in Geneva Monday 17th

Food standards can make global food trade more inclusive

Food safety and food standards are crucial to unlock the potential of an important tool to fight hunger, which is trade.
