Constitutional provisions

Natural resources: Son recursos y servicios reservados al sector público, entre otros: a) los minerales e hidrocarburos; b) los servicios de suministros de agua potable y electricidad. El Estado puede delegar, conceder o asociarse a la iniciativa privada para el desarrollo de cualquiera de las actividades o servicios antes mencionados, en la forma y casos que la ley establece.
